- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I went to dr Serrentino for help with depression & anxiety. At the onset of my 1st visit with her, I expressed that I was not interested in any SSRI medication or ANY medication at all. She did not respond to my comment however she continued conducting the session with questions beginning with my childhood up & into the present situation, all the while watching the clock. My 33 year old daughter, who is an attorney, was present during most of the session. The "Dr." announced the session was over & asked for payment. My daughter asked when she wanted to see me again & she said "I only treat patients willing to go on meds"! My daughter asked her why then did she continue with the session knowing I would not agree to take medication that I was only interested in talk therapy.
